About Us:
The Federalist Society has grown to be the most active collection of libertarian and conservative law students in the United States. It now includes participants throughout all parts of the legal world.
The group as a whole will not take a particular stance on any political issue of the day. Moreover, it is not interested in pressuring its members to support one candidate or hold a position on the usual topics of public debate. Instead, its main tenets are:
-Our judiciary carries the role of voicing what the law is, not what any one judge would like the law to be.
-The state exists to preserve freedom.
-The separation of governmental powers is central to our Constitution.
